This beautiful medallion is handmade in .999 fine silver, which is 99.9% silver (sterling silver is 92.5% silver) Medusa is a symbol of protection, strength, and female empowerment. Medusa was given the ability to turn men to stone with her gaze after her assault by Neptune in Aphrodites temple. If the pendant is purchased with a chain, it will come with an 18” chain in sterling silver. if the pendant is purchased alone it will have a jump ring to attach it to a chain of your own. The pendant is roughly 25mm, or 1” or slightly longer than a US quarter, and weighs 8-10 grams of silver. due to the handmade nature of the item there can be slight variations in size and weight.
